FOR YOUR ROMAN VACATION


By Air - The main airport is Leonardo Da Vinci, which is situated in Fiumicino,
approx. 36 kms from the centre of Rome. It is linked up by a rail network,
at Rome Ostiense station. Here it is possible to access the subway
(metropolitana) at the Piramide stop (B line which intersects the A line at
the Termini stop). A train leaves every 20 minutes from 5.30 am to midnight.
There are also buses which depart from Fiumicino airport and go to the Air
terminal in Via Giolitti, adjacent to the Termini station.

The other airport is situated at Ciampino, 16 km. southeast of Rome. It is
linked up to the Termini station by a rail network and buses.

Taxis are available from both airports to the city.

The more practical solution for our guests, is to utilize our chauffeur
driven Mercedes service, which will be waiting for you at the airport upon
your arrival.

By train - Most trains arrive at the Termini station, here it is possible to take the
subway (metropolitana: A line - B line) to get around Rome. The cost of the
ticket is Lit. 1.500. The other station is the Tiburtina station, which is
also serviced by the subway (metropolitana B line). Both stations have an
efficient taxi service.


Transports - There are 2 subway lines: the first is A line (linea A) which crosses the city from the southern outer suburbs (Via Tuscolana- Via Appia) to the
Vatican area;
the second one, B line, links eastern Rome (Rebibbia) to Eur, intersecting the A line at the Termini station.
It is  possible to use the efficient transport system which links up all
areas of the city.
